When The 400 Years of African American History commission asked me to be a part of their Stronger Than ... campaign, I didn't think I had the courage and the humility to once again face what has held me back for so long. I did not think anyone would care because my pain was not trauma based or so I thought.

How often do we ask ourselves nurturing questions? When answering nurturing questions we can then create affirmations from the answers we find. Affirmations greatly increases the capability for us to nurture ourselves and grow.

To fully love yourself, you must look at yourself clearly. Yet, doing this is not as easy as you may think. Most people have an idea of themselves that they associate with their accomplishments. These ideas have nothing to do with reality, whether they are positive or negative.

I believe everyone has a kindred crystal. A crystal that is sort of like your companion. It is a spirited connection with a natural resource that speaks to your heart. It’s simple to discover your kindred crystal and when you do, you will discover the greatest parts of you.

In 2021 I attended a sound healing bath with my sister. It was the first time for the both of us, so we were unsure on what to expect. However, our hearts and minds were open to something new.

The work that I do is far from unique. However the practices are. The practices have rules, traditions and many cultural ties. Some of these ties are based upon folklore however many are written about, documented and indoctrinated bound by thier sacredness.
