For the Energy Facilitators… Healthy Self = Healthy Business. Written by Bethany Bright

The importance of wellness as an individual or a business owner/entrepreneur is paramount these days. My belief is a healthy spirit, mind and body create a healthy individual which overflows to create a healthy business. But the individual comes first.

Our spirit, our soul, the essence of who we are, need to be first in line. If our spirit is crushed or sick, it influences our mind and body in negative ways.

Here is a quick and easy way to settle your spirit/soul at the moment. Close your eyes and imagine yourself surrounded by what you consider nature... What you consider beautiful.

It may be a large plot of land with flowers and trees. It may be mountains or a valley. Perhaps it is a lake or the ocean. Imagine yourself there. Picture the sun. Feel the rays from the sun beaming down on you gently and comfortably.

If you are a person of faith, take this time to pray, but after sitting quietly first.

Breathe deep, slow breaths, in and out. Count down from 10 while breathing slowly and intentionally. This quick exercise can be done anywhere and will help center yourself throughout the day.

You can also use this time for affirmations, scriptures, etc. to improve your spirit and mind simultaneously. Thinking positive will be the vein of a healthy mind.

There are many little things we can do to improve our health daily. One thing I do religiously: have a cup of hot green tea with honey, cinnamon, ginger, garlic, and turmeric but if that sounds too complicated, you can start with just green tea, honey, and cinnamon. I also encourage basic stretches that aid in blood circulation allowing clearer thinking. A short walk can also help us refocus.

Once we consider that everything is connected, we can improve every aspect of ourselves. It takes work daily, but we are worth it!

Now, you tell me, as a fellow energy facilitator; how do you take care of the business that is YOU and YOUR well-being?

Drop me a line…I’m all ears!
